The greenback boogie
Ima Robot is een Amerikaanse band uit Los Angeles, opgericht eind jaren 90. Ze brachten een reeks albums, EP's en singles uit, waaronder Ima Robot (2003), Search and Destroy en Monument to the Masses (2006), en Another Man's Treasure (2010). Hun track Greenback Boogie, oorspronkelijk een B-kant van Another Man's Treasure, groeide onverwachts uit tot een cult-hit als de iconische openingstune van de juridische dramaserie Suits (2011–2019) op USA Network.
Sinds 2011 ligt de band op ijs, omdat de leden druk zijn met andere projecten. Toch houdt frontman Alex Ebert, die het nummer schreef en componeerde, de deur op een kier—zoals hij zelf zegt: "I’m still in Ima Robot."

Suits LA is te zien op NBC, maar of een streamingdienst de serie naar Nederland en België brengt, blijft voorlopig een vraagteken.
