Rose discovers her car has been vandalized and suspects Melanie, a neighbor she recently turned down for volunteer work. Pauls concerns about a deal with the Quills cause tension between him and Terese, and Rose confronts Melanie. Toadie mediates the situation, but Karl, Susan, and Kyle are skeptical of Melanies guilt. Mackenzie helps Melanie express her hurt over Toadies suspicions.
