Sonya and Toadie embark on a road trip to the beach house, where Sonya reveals her cancer has spread to her brain. She imparts her feelings to those close to her, and her greatest sentiment is reserved for her children. Sonya dies in Toadies arms, telling him that heaven is here on earth with him.
