Highlander: The Animated Series

McLeod, Ramirez and CLyde find a society of Grans living wild, and learn that while they are actually very intelligent, wild Grans have an inherant distrust of both humans and their domesticated counterparts. They will have to earn their trust, however, to fight of a hunter attack.
