Fred suspects that Len is two-timing Rita with Elsie because of the atmosphere between them. The washing gets soaked as it is rained on. Hilda enjoys Stan and Eddie's anguish. Rita tells Len that she trusts him but she'll never let him alone. Stan returns the washing and Ruby pays him £1.
