Reed dings up Malloy's new car in pursuit of a purse snatcher, and Malloy is worried about how much Sgt. MacDonald's brother (an autobody shopman) will charge, despite Reed's offer to pay half. Calls include a drunk man shooting arrows, a shop is held up and the shop owner suffers a heart attack and dies while the officers question him, and a robbery at a pharmacy where the suspect gets away in the back of a truck.
