ABC baas Paul Lee heeft bevestigd tegen over TVLine dat castle officieel een 8ste seizoen krijgt:

ABC boss Paul Lee has confirmed that Castle will be renewed for Season 8.

While Lee stopped short of officially announcing the veteran procedural’s Season 8 renewal, he claimed that “it will be back,” with a further eye on the show being around for “many years to come,” per TVLine:

“We love Castle, we love [Nathan Fillion and Stana Katic], and we want to see Castle on the air for many years to come. It will be coming back.”
